3. POSITION OVERVIEW : - 

The role holder will be responsible for Body & Glaze formulation, raw materials testing and implementation of lean concepts to improve production efficiency and quality. He/she will also be implementing improvements to products to reduce wastages & cost control.

4. KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES : - 

1.Plan in co-ordination with the Lab Incharge for the daily production program.

2 Checking of all the tanks for the available glaze stock.
3 As per the production schedule, plan for the daily glaze requirement by planning and instructing his team.
4 Coordinate with ceramists for the new developments and material requirement.
5 Validating and Maintaining the glaze raw material inventory.
6 Documentation of ISO logbooks and also the data for SAP entry.
7 Inspection of glaze ball mills, sieves, and stirrer tanks for any abnormalities and solve with the concerned team.
8 Co-ordinate with all the departments in solving the problems, implementing corrective measures and improvements on quality and quantity.
9 Monitoring, Controlling and troubleshooting all the production parameters such as Viscosity, Residue, and Density of all Glazes and Colors.
10 Scheduling of manpower under Glaze Preparation on daily basis.
11 Responsible for the 5S and TPM activities for the department.
12 Responsible for Health & Safety.
