Job Description & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

Inspection and Testing:
- Conduct visual inspections and measurements of tiles to check for defects, variations, and adherence to specifications.
- Operate testing equipment and instruments to assess tile dimensions, thickness, and other relevant parameters.
- Test a percentage of tiles based on industry standards to ensure consistency and quality.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and findings.
- Document any defects, deviations, or non-conformities and suggest corrective actions.
- Prepare reports summarizing inspection results, reworks, and waste, and input data into quality databases.

Process Monitoring and Improvement:
- Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure they run smoothly and meet production standards.
- Identify areas for improvement in the production process and suggest solutions to reduce defects and enhance quality.
- Train production teams on quality control measures to improve product excellence.

Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure that products comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Verify that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures.
- Comply with legal requirements related to quality control.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with production teams and other stakeholders to address quality issues.
- Report problems or concerns to senior management immediately.

Other Duties:
- Maintain and calibrate measuring equipment to various testing standards.
- Update job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training.
- May be involved in developing test methods and inspection plans.
